ENEMLOS study visit to London postponed

A study visit to Regent's University in London, United Kingdom, was planned to take place from 7 to 11 June this year. According to the Agenda of the event, the visit should have been attended by partner institutions from Montenegro and Kosovo. On that occasion, the partners from Britain would introduce the regional ENEMLOS partners with their experience and practices in working with legal clinics, but also with the national system of free legal aid.

Kosovo's partners successfully completed the study visit.

However, the British visas were not issued on time for the most members of the Montenegrin ENEMLOS delegation, which prevented them from traveling. The few members of the delegation who managed to get a British visa also did not travel, because on the day of departure, the carrier canceled the trip, which could not have been logistically overcame. The study visit from the Montenegrin partners was attended only by representatives of the Chamber of Judicial Officers of Montenegro who had a different travel arrangement.

Due to the situation, it was decided to attempt another delegation for Montenegrin partners in the fall of 2022. Given that the unforeseen combination of circumstances caused damage to the project in terms of implementation dynamics, but also finances, it is possible to expect a delegation with fewer institutional representatives.
