The legal clinic started working
The Faculty of Law of the University of Montenegro started working with real clients at the Legal Clinic on May 17, 2022. The clinic will provide free legal aid to real clients, vulnerable groups, within the ENEMLOS project.
In all situations where one or more persons (vulnerable groups, e.g. victims of domestic violence, poor people, refugees, asylum seekers, children and people with disabilities) seek legal advice, the legal clinic will provide free legal advice to the client. This advice is provided by students under the mentorship of teachers and legal practitioners (judges, attorneys, prosecutors, notaries, public enforcers and mediators).
The Legal Clinic provides free legal advice in the field of civil, criminal, litigation, business, contract, family, inheritance, administrative, international, labor, constitutional, financial, environmental and human rights law.
The Legal Clinic of the Faculty of Law of the University of Montenegro is located in the building of the Faculty of Law (at the entrance from the parking lot) and will work every working day from 12:00 to 15:00 p.m., and on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 16:00 to 18:00 p.m. during the academic year.
The Faculty of Law has provided space for the work of legal clinics, and through the ENEMLOS project, the necessary equipment and library with the latest literature editions from the EU legal assortment and countries that traditionally have legal clinics in their curricula and work with real clients.
