Pristina Law Faculty visited Law Faculty UoM
A delegation from the Faculty of Law of the University of Pristina, a partner in the ENEMLOS project, visited the Faculty of Law of the University of Montenegro and the Law Clinic on 21 December 2022. The delegation was led by Dean Prof. Dr. Avni Puka, Professors Bedri Peci and Muhamed Vokri and 10 students, and during the visit they spoke with the dean, Prof. Dr. Anet Spaić.
The working part of the visit was a conversation with members of the ENEMLOS project team, coordinator Prof. Dr. Biljan Đuričin, Asis. Professors Dr Nikola Dožić, Dr. Velibor Korać, Dr. Marinom Jovićević, Dr. Rajkom Đoković and 10 students working at the clinic.
The meeting was also attended by representatives of non-academic partners of the ENEMLOS project to which part attended Dr. Nina Radulović on behalf of the Bar Chamber of Montenegro.
The two delegations exchanged experiences in previous work at the clinics, improvement of clinical legal education, future activities through the ENEMLOS project, as well as the sustainability of the project's goals after its completion in November of the next academic year.
The students of the two faculties presented their work at the clinics, the motivation and advantages provided by the legal clinics both for the application of practical knowledge and for future work when they graduate from the faculty.
The delegation visited the premises of the Faculty of Law and especially stayed in the premises of the Law Clinic, which have been adapted and consist of the equipment needed to work with live clients. The students introduced their colleagues to the documents that are necessary for quality work in providing free legal advice.
The delegation also visited the Chamber of Notaries of Montenegro, which is also a partner in the ENEMLOS project. In a friendly and creative atmosphere, in a conversation with the president of the Chamber, Mr. Darko Ćurić, experiences in the work of the notary service were exchanged.
