Consultative meeting of national academic and non-academic partners
The meeting took place on January 25, 2023 in the premises of the Faculty of Law of the University of Montenegro. Project manager dr Nina Radulović attended on behalf of the Bar Chamber of Montenegro.
The meeting discussed the work of the legal clinic so far during the winter semester of the academic year 2022/23.
Project coordinator, prof. Dr. Biljana Đuričin pointed out the great interest of students in working at the legal clinic and informed the partners that 52 students attended the clinic.
Insufficient interest of citizens in the legal aid they can get at the legal clinic is proving to be a problem, which is why the partners also discussed the ways in which they can contribute to its promotion in the public. Nonacademic partners expressed their willingness to direct clients from their practice to the legal clinic, in order to increase their number and reach the level of success of the project foreseen by the plan.
The meeting was an opportunity to distribute the clinic’s brochures to partners in order to reach people who need primary legal assistance.
At the same time, the dates of the trainings that will be realized during the upcoming summer semester have been determined.
The activities that follow until the end of the Project were also summarized in general.
