Bar Chamber of Montenegro held ENEMLOS training
The ENEMLOS legal clinic at the Faculty of Law of the University of Montenegro has started its work and an appropriate number of final year students and postgraduates have been recruited.
The Bar Chamber of Montenegro, as a partner institution in the project, on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, held the first training for selected participants of the legal clinic in the premises of the faculty.
The training was held by the Project manager Dr. Nina Radulović and Mr. Rusmin Nikočević, an attorney at law from Podgorica with over 30 years of experience in the judiciary related to the work of a judge and attorney.
At the training performed by BCoM, a simulation of the first meeting of an attorney with a new client was performed and a real case from judicial practice was presented. The following topics were covered during the training:
- properly conducting an interview with the client;
- proper processing of the factual and legal circumstances of the case by the attorney, including evidence management;
- proper communication with all participants in court proceedings;
- proper assessment of the opportunity to take the case considering its financial and other benefits.
The training is the first in a series of trainings that will be conducted by the BCoM during the ENEMLOS project, deepening down the above-mentioned topics and including new ones related to attorney’s and judicial practice in general.
