Erasmus+: Project Implementation Report - Comments and Recommendations

On October 11, 2021, the National Partners in Montenegro received the “Project Implementation Report - Comments and Recommendations” from the Erasmus + donor dated on October 8, 2021.

The Report noted formal shortcomings in the submission of reporting documents by the Project’s coordinator that need to be addressed. Insufficient activity regarding dissemination of information about the Project to the general public in the local language was also stated. The main shortcoming of the Project was the insufficiently developed concept of "self-sustainability" of legal clinics after the end of the ENEMLOS project, i.e. insufficiently developed manner of their permanent survival in the higher education system with the participation of involved national partners.

The Project Manager for the Bar Chamber of Montenegro, Dr. Nina Radulović, the very same day replied to the Report with a letter to the Erasmus + Program in which she pointed out the activities of the Bar Chamber of Montenegro on the Project that have far exceeded the activities planned by the Project itself to be performed by it. Contemporary she has expressed hope that any negative evaluation of the Project in general and the engagement of other partners shall not negatively affect the reputation of the Chamber in future project applications.

Bearing in mind that part of the Project activities was implemented with a delay due to the Covid 19 pandemic, the Faculty of Law of the University of Montenegro as the Project Coordinator requested its extension for one year. We hope that the proposal for the extension of the Project will be adopted and that in the remaining period of its implementation, the shortcomings noticed so far will be eliminated.
